For those joining the celebration of Mass via webcam or television or radio or Facebook the following prayer is given to be said at Communion time: An Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus,
I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you.
Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.

The Archdiocese has recommended that all Confirmations, First Communions and First Confessions be postponed until further notice. Thankfully our Sacrament of Confirmation was administered, and we will reschedule First Communions and First Confession.
And all non-essential pastoral gatherings and meetings are cancelled.

Places of Worship
Places of worship are to close for services, with the exception of funerals (following the numbers and social distancing guidance). Places of worship should remain open STRICTLY FOR SOLITARY PRAYER ONLY. Webcam services may continue from places of worship.
Please note this means that weddings and baptisms (and/or any other planned or scheduled GATHERING OF PEOPLE for Adoration, Rosary etc.) may no longer go ahead.
COVID-19 Support Line for Older People ALONE has launched a national support line and additional supports for older people who have concerns or are facing difficulties relating to the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Professional staff are available to answer queries and give advice and reassurance where necessary. The support line is open seven days a week, 8am – 8pm, by calling 0818 222 024.
