First Communion: congratulations to all the children – 42 girls and boys – who received their First Communion recently in our Parish and to other Parishioners who received their First Communion in other Parishes– we hope you have great memories of your special day.
Corpus Christi – Saturday 10th/Sunday 11th June – children are encouraged to attend Mass this weekend in thanksgiving wearing again their First Communion clothes.

Blessing of the Graves: Dunmoyle Sunday 2nd July Blessing of the Graves at 10am followed by Mass at the Altar Glen at 11am; Ballymacilroy Sunday 30th July at 11am; Garvaghey Sunday 6th August at 11am; Old Errigal Sunday 10th September at 2pm. Please bring water with you which will be blessed on the day, and in turn will be used to bless the graves by those present.

St Ciaran’s College Connected Committee, together with the management and staff, are seeking your help to support the refurbishment of two changing rooms at St Ciaran’s College with a fundraising coffee morning, hosted by our award-winning Chef Kristen Nugent, on Saturday 10th June – 10.30am to 1pm.
First Class Relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis, to visit St Patrick’s Cathedral. Blessed Carlo was beatified by Pope Francis in Assisi in October 2020. His friends remember him as a young dreamer, service-oriented and full of charisma. He died in 2006, at only 15 years of age, after a battle with leukaemia. His life may have been short, but it made a huge impact. Recently, in the process for the teenager’s beatification, his tomb became a real pilgrimage site. Mary’s Meals Open Garden Fundraiser at Tattykeel House, Sat 17th and Sun 18th June 12pm-5pm . Explore the garden, relax, purchase delicious refreshments and lots of homegrown plants and gifts to buy at our plant and merchandise stall. £5 entry fee. All donations will help Mary’s Meals to provide daily school meals to children in some of the world’s poorest countries.

The statue of Our Lady of Fatima is available again to visit the homes of the Parish for those with special intentions such as exams, illness etc – can avail of the statue for a week. The newly appointed Papal Nuncio to Ireland, Archbishop Luis Mariano Montemayor presented his credentials to President Michael D Higgins on 11th May last. We welcome the Pope’s ambassador to Ireland and wish him a pleasant stay among us.
Holy Year 2025 – all roads can lead to Rome! The Vatican office in charge of coordinating the plans for the Holy Year is launching a website – iubilaeum2025.va – and an app to help people/pilgrims register and to guide them along their pilgrimage to Rome.
