Blessing of Graves at Dunmoyle and Altar Glen Mass – I asked the Lord to keep it dry until 12.30pm and while at the Glen at precisely 12.30pm there was a very heavy shower – HE does listen!!!!! And it was mostly dry for the Blessing of the Graves and the walk to the Glen which was also blessed with some Altars along the walk. Thank you, God! Thanks to the Altar Glen Committee who decorated the Glen, set up the Altar, provided seats. Thank you to Peter who read and the collectors and the First Communicant children who brought up the gifts and to the Eucharistic Ministers and to Noleen and the Choir who provided music and song. Thank you to those who organised and served the refreshments in the Community Centre – most welcome. Thank you to the many Parishioners and others who came to pray and walk and meet up. All of this and more added to our gathering and celebration of our faith. The Altar Glen is a special place and space in our Parish – make use of the quietness and the nature it offers. God is near.
