Tuesday 12th Church of the Immaculate Conception 7pm remembering all those Parishioners who have died and all those buried in our Parish during the last twelve months.

Mass for mothers and fathers and families whose baby/babies died prematurely, or at birth or soon after birth or in infancy will be celebrated on Tuesday 26th at 7pm in Church of the Immaculate Conception.

No other anniversaries will be mentioned on the above dates.

Note from Africa: With this note I wish to inform you all that I have been able to purchase a 2019 pickup with 148,000km on its clock. The cost was 45 million Malawian Kwacha. Towards this purchase St Patrick’s Missionary Society gave me a grant of 8,000Euro and you my home community of Errigal Ciaran from various gifts to me when I was home helped with the balance of 14,500Euro.

I am grateful to my Society and most especially to so many of you in my home Parish. I now have a reliable vehicle with which to continue to my new project and ministry of developing the Kawinduwndu Retreat Centre in Northern Malawi. With gratitude. Fr Leo Traynor, Tirnaskea and Malawi.

Good reasons to go to Mass! 2. Jesus gives us the gift of himself. When we go to Mass, we are doing what Jesus commanded his followers to do. It is a command to love and to be loved by Cod. Jesus offers himself to us in the Word of Cod that we hear and in his Real Presence, offered to us in the Blessed Sacrament at Communion.
