The Legion of Mary will bring the statue of Our Lady of Fatima to all Masses this weekend, 14th/15th, to ask her intercession before God
during the coronavirus emergency to keep us all safe throughout the island of Ireland.

COVID 19 – Coronavirus Archbishop Eamon Martin writes: Following the most up to date advice from public health authorities – North and
South – I ask you to implement the following important guidance immediately: People who feel unwell with symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g.
cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, high temperature) should not attend religious services but should stay at home and follow the
advice of their GP and public health authorities. Parishioners should be reminded that they are dispensed from their Sunday obligation to attend
Mass if they are unwell. The Sign of Peace should be suspended at this time. Similarly, the practice of shaking hands on greeting and departure
at religious services/ gatherings should be suspended for both clergy and laity. Holy Water fonts should not be used at this time. Only the
celebrant should drink from the Chalice. Holy Communion should be administered into the hands only and NOT onto the tongue. Everyone
administering Holy Communion should wash their hands or use alcohol-based hand gel before beginning. Those attending any Church services
should bring their own hand gel (if available).

Mary’s Meals – donations can be left at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballygawley. Mary’s Meals have now sent off a total of
25,000 backpacks to assist the children on Malawi!!! They are currently very short of towels and ask that anyone who has some spare bath or
hand towels would consider donating them to Mary’s Meals. The towels do not have to be new, just in good condition.

It continues this Thursday night between 7pm and 8pm in Ballygawley Playing Fields. St Ciaran’s College in conversation with Richard Moore who was shot and blinded by a rubber bullet at the age of ten in Derry in 1972. Since this event over forty years ago he has been on a journey of forgiveness and compassion. He is now, incredibly, also a friend of the British soldier, Charles Innes, who shot him. As a result of his life experiences, Richard is now a personal friend of world famous spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama Come to St Ciaran’s to hear Richard speak on his extraordinary story!
