Padre Pio Mass on Tuesday 5th March at 7pm in Church of the Immaculate Conception with the Veneration of Saint Padre Pio relic and Novena prayers through his intercession. All Petitions will be taken to the tomb of Saint Pio. Pray, Hope and Don’t Worry.
Parish Fundraising – An Opportunity to Contribute – Parishioners should have received a brochure by now – some available in Churches. All family members are encouraged to read it – those who are active members of the Parish and those who are not. New Parish Envelope boxes will be available in March – check your name and address from last year and let MoD know of any changes. New requests for envelopes should be sent in asap. And those using standing order via bank should also let MoD know. Thank you.
Year of Prayer: on 21st January Pope Francis announced a Year of Prayer in preparation for the 2025 Jubilee Year. He said: this year is dedicated to rediscovering the great value and absolute need for prayer in one’s personal life, in family life, in the life of the Church and in the world. I ask you to intensify your prayer to prepare us to live this event (the Jubilee Year 2025) of grace well and to experience the power of God’s hope.
