Sacrament of Baptism: we welcome into the Errigal Ciaran Parish faith community Aoibhín Una Morrow, Ĕadha Kate Hackett, Ciara Catherine Hackett, Jeriah Izwirashe Maromgwe who were Baptised recently.

St Matthew’s Church: work will begin 27th May. The Church will reopen at the beginning of December – hopefully! Those who have booked anniversaries during this time should contact Mod to rearrange.

The Sunday morning Mass usually celebrated at St Matthew’s will move to St Mary’s Church during this time. And the Friday morning Mass will move to Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballygawley.

Friday 24th May 5.30pm – some help needed to move vestments and brasses etc to School for safekeeping. An hour should do it!

St Vincent de Paul Ballygawley – covering the Parishes of Errigal Ciaran, Clogher and Aughnacloy are in urgent need of volunteers especially those with IT skills. We are a voluntary charity which provides direct support to those in need. If you could please spare some time and would like to make a difference in your community, please contact the Conference phone number 07752403625 as local knowledge is essential for SVP to work effectively.

Sharon Dunne from the Diocesan Pastoral Office will be speaking at Masses over the next weeks about Parish Pastoral Council and how Parishioners may get involved in the mission/work of the Parish.

St Patrick’s Missionary Society – mission appeal – Fr Tomas O’Connor will visit the Parish 25th/26th May and speak at Masses.

Moyenir Credit Union, open evening at our new offices, on Thursday 16th May from 4pm to 8pm food available, and prize draw for all visitors, everyone welcome to join us.

Armagh Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes – the recent collection going towards bringing the sick to Lourdes amounted to £880.72 and 7Euro. The local Committee thank you for your generosity and assure you of their prayers at the Grotto during these days of pilgrimage – 12th to 17th May.

Legion of Mary meet at 8pm on Thursdays in Upper Room, Church of the Immaculate Conception. They would welcome new members to assist with spread of this holy devotion.

Errigal Ciaran GFC have organised a weekly walking event – Mondays at Ballygawley Playing Fields and Wednesdays at Cardinal MacRory Park Dunmoyle both from 7pm to 8pm from now til end of May. For all ages! Fresh air and a chat – all for free!
